Genomics version 2.0

Full genome sequencing does not mean "genomics". Sequencing is sequencing and genomics is genomics.

If the first generation genomics was about sequencing and providing basic DNA information to other fields of biology, the version 2.0 genomics is about popularizing genome information to the society by providiing medical and social context to the world.
Google's investment to 23andMe.com is an example of version 2.0 trend.
Personal genome sequencer is also a sign of 2.0.
