Personal Genomics Institute (PGI) established.
April 19th, 2010, PGI was established by Theragen Inc. as a non-profit research organization. Theragen is the most advanced genomics company in Korea.
Genome Research Foundation which established PGI is registered foundation for genome research under the ministry of Education, Science, and Technology of Korea.
Its main projects are analyzing personal genomes and other omes such as transcriptomes.
It is led by Jong Bhak, Ph.D.
